Times can be tough for a cancelled IG star...we've seen it before. Some of you might remember micro mommy/fashion influencer Esther 'Coco' Berg from @estherandsasha - blocked by IG for posting photos of Bill DeBlasio's daughter that the platform found objectionable. They recently restored her account, much to the delight of her fan's we'd imagine, however it seems like the pause and the scandal may have cost her brand a bit.
So much so, that it looks like she may have resorted to, gasp, buying fake followers to make up for the shortfall - at least that's what the word out is. We checked ourselves using a free IG audit service (no plugs guys, sorry) and saw for ourselves: 50%, a full half, of the account's followers were suspicious, including a solid number of apparently Russian-based accounts.
Little weird right? It gets weirder.
Right alongside that, have a look at some of the totally rando articles popping up for her - blogs you've probably never heard about or read before. That's because she's probably paying some people on Fiverr to plant some nice things about her - paying for coverage.
We don't hate the hustle, but maybe all those sponsors would?
